The SIEGLGUT is located in the heart of Altaussee opposite the Altaussee church and Lake Altaussee at the end of the most beautiful dead-end street in the world (O-quote: Friedrich Torberg). The heart of the estate ensemble is the approximately 300-year-old farmhouse with its nostalgic five vacation apartments, in which "summer freshness like back then" can be experienced in the footsteps of Hugo von Hofmannstahl, Arthur Schnitzler, Friedrich Torberg, Johannes Brahms and Theodor Herzl.
The bathing places at Lake Altaussee are within a few minutes walking distance. The hiking trails to the Loser start behind, the hiking trails around the lake in front of the SIEGLGUT. With the in-house bicycles, you can quickly reach the village bakery in the morning or ride to the white bathing beaches on the opposite side of the lake in the afternoon to enjoy the afternoon sun or experience dreamlike sunsets.
The large park-like garden of the SIEGLGUTS invites you to relax at the foot and with a view of the Loser. With the Refugium am See, the Jausenstation Kahlseneck and the Mayrei Altaussee, culinary highlights are also provided directly in the neighborhood.

Parking slots are available for free. Enjoy our quiet and large garden with our garden furnitures. In-house bicycles are available for free. Leave your car at the Sieglgut and enjoy everything in walking distance or by bicycle (walking tour around the lake, bicycle ride to the local bakery, visit our culinary hot spots in the neighbourhood).
Additional bed for one child:
An extra bed for children up to 14 years, is to be arranged for the Hugo von Hofmannsthal Suite, the Arthur Schnitzler Apartment and the Friedrich Torberg Apartment. For specific price information please contact the host.
Additional one bed room (ideal for one additional child):
There is another "one bed room" at the second floor next to the Arthur Schnitzler Apartment and the Friedrich Torberg Apartment, which can be booked together with one of these appartements in case you would like to visit the SIEGLGUT with an additional child.
