Arrival by Car
from the direction of Salzburg
From Bad Ischl via Bad Goiser to Bad Aussee. Continue on the B145 towards Bad Mitterndorf/Liezen. Exit at Knoppen.
from the direction of Liezen
From Liezen towards Schladming, Salzburg, follow the junction at Trautenfels - the turnoff to Ausseerland. Shortly after Bad Mitterndorf, exit towards Bad Aussee on the B145 at Knoppen.
The public road from the valley to the country house (700 m) is well cleared and maintained by the municipality. In winter, there is a requirement to use chains on snowy roads!
