Information
The Grashütte on the Tauplitzalm is a rustic self-catering cabin at the foot of the Schneiderkogel.
It accommodates up to 20 people. There is a mattress dormitory for six people, a mattress dormitory for ten people, and two smaller rooms for two or three people. The large common room is heated with a wood stove. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and the bathroom is equipped with a shower. The toilet is separate.
In winter, the ski slopes are right outside the front door. In summer, the Six Lakes Hike can be started directly from the accommodation.
Direct access by car to the cabin is only possible in summer. In winter, however, the vehicle must be parked at the parking lot, and the transport of luggage to the cabin must be organized by the guests themselves.

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

Payment Conditions
The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll) In summer you can drive up to the accommodation.
In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.
