Information
The Alpenhotel Steirerhof is located at an altitude of 1,650 meters directly in the hiking and ski area of Tauplitzalm.
After a comprehensive exterior and interior renovation, the hotel has reopened.
The accommodation offers some rooms with a private bathroom. Otherwise, there is access to a shared bathroom.
In the also renovated restaurant, the service areas have been reorganized to serve the offered Austrian and Hungarian dishes more quickly.
Free WLAN, a sauna, and a lounge with a karaoke system round off the vacation experience.
Since Tauplitzalm is car-free in winter, there is the possibility of luggage transportation from the Tauplitzalm parking lot, which is located at the end of the toll road. A new and convenient storage room for skis and ski boots is also available in the hotel.

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

Payment Conditions
The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)
In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hotel.
